Zaack's DUST dust sensor, in service since 2019, was going off the rails in the field: battery life under a year, measurement sensitive to humidity and temperature, false battery gauge, LoRa disconnections. Backed by a service diagnosis, I evolved it into the V2, digital sensor, integrated radio, external antenna and rethought power, without reinventing it.
