A day in Hong Kong, from the Star Ferry to nightfall. Here you cross the city by boat: you hop from one ferry to the next and watch the skyline grow from the water.
By day, Victoria Harbour is blue and mineral. By night, a wall of neon reflected in the harbour, crossed by a red-sailed junk straight off a postcard.
The next day, off to Lantau: the Ngong Ping cable car glides over the bay and the bridge toward Macau, up to the Tian Tan Big Buddha and the Po Lin Monastery, set in the mountains.
